Haute couture collections are always my favourite. It is fascinating to look at luxury fashion craftsmanship – handmade garments created with the highest-quality fabrics. Collections contain the most beautiful clothing that can be envisioned and made in any time. Each couture garment is a piece of art and it can take hundreds of hours to finish, i.e. it took a team of 200 around 2000 hours to make an exquisitely embroidered and feathered gown from Chanel’s 2013 couture collection.
Only a few hundred women in the world can actually afford to purchase haute couture pieces but every women can be inspired by trends in collections and update their wardrobes. I would like to share my favourite trends from Spring Couture 2014 which I definitely will add for this spring outfits.
My favourite pieces were light pleated gowns from Ellie Saab’s collection. I fell in love with plissé fabric and light pleats and their lightweight texture which will be perfect for a hot summer day.
I can’t wait for spring to add bold colours to my outfits. I love green but I have never had anything in acid green shade which is going to be big this season.

Shades of Blue
I don’t have many clothes in blue and after watching Spring Couture 2014 collections I am really looking forward to introduce different shades of blue to my wardrobe this spring. There are so many beautiful shades to choose from – vivid blue, midnight blue and my favourite hydrangea blue.

One more colour will be introduced to my wardrobe this season. According Pantone violet is the most important color for this spring. It will be one of my favourites pastel shades.
