Autumn/ Winter 2013 Fashion Trends: Winter Blooms

Hi Everyone!

Autumn/ Winter fashion shows were overgrown with flowers which are a key staple for this autumn. Bouquets of lush blooms in overripe hues, scattered across blackened silks, satins and chiffons provide a romantic glamour and create a beautifully melancholic mood.

Winter florals are perfect for the transitional period between the seasons and will still have you feeling garden-fresh when the sun goes down on summer. Choose dark, dramatic with bold black accents floral print and wear all over or keep it simple with one printed piece.

My favourite way to wear winter florals is combining them with leather – a full floral skirt with a biker jacket slung over my shoulders. Have a look at pictures to find your inspiration for this trend.
